Child & Youth Well-Being Sessions for Families & Caregivers
The CBE invites all parents and guardians to join us for a live online series focused on supporting child and youth well-being. Hosted by the Recovery Alberta Community Education Service (CES) Program in collaboration with experts from the Calgary community, this year's sessions will explore a range of timely topics.
These sessions are free and provide information, resources, helplines, and services to support healthy child and youth development.

Welcome Back Picnic
This is a chance for families to visit and have some dinner. Bring your own food or purchase food from the food trucks that will be joining us. Staff may join us as well, giving you an opportunity to hang out with your child’s teacher in a fun and friendly atmosphere. We’d love to see you there!
Terry Fox Run
Our annual Terry Fox run will be held on Friday, Sept 18. Terry Fox is an important person in Canadian history. If you would like to learn more about him, please watch this short video with your family. All families are welcome to join us for the run on Sept 18. Time will be sent out closer to the date.

Please join us for our first council meeting on Thursday, September 17 at 6:00 PM in the MPS learning commons.
We will be discussing classroom complexity and what supports look like at Monterey Park School for 2026-27.
Babysitting will be provided.
Meet the Teacher
On Sept 24 and 25, you will have the opportunity to book a conference with your child’s new teacher. This will be a short meeting to discuss your child’s needs and set learning goals. Conferences will be booked online. More information to follow.
