Hello Monterey Park Families,

It’s already October! The leaves are changing colour and it’s chillier and darker these days. One of my favourite things is pumpkins - and they are everywhere!

Here’s what’s happening at Monterey Park School.

Provincial Literacy and Numeracy Screeners

Monterey Park students in Grades 1-5 have been busy completing provincial assessments in Literacy and Numeracy over the last couple of weeks. The information gathered from these assessments is used by teachers to program in targeted ways to build your child’s reading, writing and math skills. For more information visit: Government of AB.
