We are cruising through September! The mornings are cooler, the leaves are changing and the scent of pumpkin spice is in the air. In a few more days, summer will officially be over and fall will be here.
Here’s what’s happening at MPS.
School Council
Please join us in officially welcoming Vic Chandra to our School Council executive. He has been helping throughout the last year with Fun Lunches and social media communication. If you join us tomorrow for our first council meeting of the year, you’ll likely meet him! We will be discussing classroom complexity at Monterey Park and babysitting will be provided. 6 pm in the Learning Commons or use this LINK to join us for the conversation online.
Terry Fox Run
We have some exciting news for our upcoming Terry Fox fundraiser. If we raise $1,000, two lucky teachers will get a pie in the face! Let’s show our school spirit and support for this important cause! Families are welcome to join us for the run. K-3 students will run 10:15-11:00 and 4-6 students will run 11:30-12:30. Come and run with us or cheer us on!
