Hello Monterey Park Families 

Thank you for all your creativity on ANYTHING BUT A BACK PACK DAY. We had students bring their supplies in laundry baskets, suitcases and even a shopping cart! 

We made it, team! We are on our last two days of the school year. Report cards are available for viewing in MyCBE. If you any questions, please contact your child’s teacher before the end of the day on Thursday, June 26. 

This evening is our Food Truck Summer Send Off from 5-7. See information below for the food trucks and dietary options that will be available. 

Tomorrow, please join us for our campfire sing-a-long and join us in this very Canadian camping tradition. We will start the campfire at 11:30 am in the gym. All are welcome. Check out the lost and found before end of day Thursday as items will be donated after this time.

Summer Send-Off

June 25 - Join us after school for food trucks and family fun. This will be a family picnic-style together where you can bring your own dinner or order form the trucks and visit as we celebrate the MPS community. 5:30-7:00pm 

Food trucks will be set up in the MPS staff parking lot.

Report Card Information 

• Find report cards in MyCBE
• If you wish to print your child’s report card, it must be printed before July 31 - after this they are no longer available to parents

Any questions can be directed to your child’s teacher before the end of the day on Thursday, June 26

Campfire Sing-A-Long Assembly

We invite you to join us for a Canadian summer tradition - The Campfire! Mr. Fraser and Co. will be leading all the students in a sing-a-long. Parents and families are welcome to come and learn some all-time summer favourite tunes. The assembly will start at 11:30 am on June 26.

Back to School Information 2025-2026

• MPS school office will re-open Monday, August 25
• You will receive an email from your child’s new teacher on Thursday, August 28 with instructions for the first day of school
• The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2 for K-6
• Our hours of school are 9:13-3:51
• Dismissal on Fridays will be at 12:55.

• Parents are invited for coffee on September 2 - after you drop off your child meet us behind the school on the basketball court (9:15-9:45)

Staff Good-Byes

We have a few staff members heading off to other opportunities this year. We wish them well and thank them for their dedicated work at Monterey Park School over the years. You will be missed!
