Ramadan has started. Many of our students and families are fasting for the next few weeks. Also - send food or money for our food drive for the Calgary Food Bank - see information below.

Food Drive for Calgary Food Bank
Calling all MPS families!
We have embarked on a month long food drive during Ramadan 2025 for the Calgary Food Bank. Non-perishable food items and cash can be brought to school. You can also visit THIS LINK if you wish to make an online donation.
We are trying to collect 500 food items! Help us reach our goal!
School Planning Survey 2025
We need your input! Please take 3-5 mins to complete this very short survey about our School Development Plan and Fees for next year. This survey is translated into several languages: Arabic, Punjabi, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Urdu, Pashto, Khmer, Persian, Hindi and Tamil. It will be available online Monday, March 3-Friday, March 14. If there is any way we can support or accommodate your child during Ramadan, please let their classroom teacher or Kelly or Michelle know.
MPS Continuum of Education
When students are driving their own learning they seek feedback, collaborate with their teacher and other learners and set their own goals.
They connect their learning to personal situations and are keen to take on challenges.
This is the spot we want students to reach for. But, we don’t always have to be the driver. Sometimes, it’s nice to be a passenger and go along for the ride also.
