Hello Monterey Park Families 

Thank you to all parents who responded to the Parent Information Night Survey. We had nearly 140 responses! The group that we want to bring in to do the presentation is not available until September - so this event has been postponed until then. Thank you for your understanding, and more information will follow regarding the date etc.'

Teachers will be providing a review of concepts learned in class. To help your student be most prepared, ensure good sleep and nutrition leading up to exams. 

All exams are written online.

Parent Appreciation Tea

This year, we would love for all parents to join us, whether you have volunteered in the school or not. As we work to build community, it will be wonderful to share a morning of conversation, snacks and entertainment with those of you who can make it.

Our Parent Appreciation Tea this year will take place on May 29 and all are welcome. See information below to RSVP and join us for a community gathering, snacks and some student entertainment.

School Council Meeting

Please join us for School Council May 21 at 6. The meeting will be in person for those who can make it. Grade 4/5 students will be sharing a Poetry Cafe with parents. We’d love to have you. If you want to join online this is the link.

Campfire Sing-A-Long Assembly 

We invite you to join us for a Canadian summer tradition - The Campfire! Mr. Fraser and Co. will be leading all the students in a sing-a-long. Parents and families are welcome to come and learn some all-time summer favourite tunes. The assembly will start at 11:30 am on June 26.
