Hello Monterey Park Families,
Can you believe we had snow this week already? Remember, students in CBE schools play outside daily in temperatures down to -20°C. Make sure your child is dressed for chilly weather.
Elder Saa’kokoto Visits MPS
Elder Saa’kokoto is from the Tall People Clan of the Kainai Nation and served his community as a member of the Blood Tribe Council for 24 consecutive years.
He now visits several CBE schools each year to share Indigenous stories and wisdom with our students. He will be at Monterey Park School from October 20–22, and all classes will have an opportunity to visit with him.
Fun Lunches 2026–2027
Our first Fun Lunch will be Pizza Hut on Thursday, October 22 — not October 30, as originally reported.
