Grade 3–6 Performance Day – Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is performance day for our Grades 3–6 students! Rehearsals are underway in the gym, and tickets are going fast. If you haven’t yet ordered tickets and your child is in Grades 3–6, please use the link below — we look forward to seeing you there!

We’ve Got the Beat!

Our Division II performance will take place on Wednesday, February 5. Two performances will be offered:

  • 2:30 PM
  • 6:00 PM

Tickets are now available, and many families have already ordered. Tickets are free and will be sent home with your child as soon as orders are processed.

Important Reminders:

  • All Grades 3–6 students should arrive for the evening concert by 5:45 PM
  • If you received a yellow school bus notice for transportation to the performance, please complete and return it to your child’s teacher as soon as possible
    • This helps us confirm how many families will be using the bus service

Valentine’s Day at MPS

We will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 11.

Students are welcome to:

  • Write Valentine’s cards for all classmates, and/or
  • Bring a treat to share with the class

Teachers will send home class lists with students’ first names only, should families wish to prepare cards at home.

Pink Shirt Day

Wednesday, February 25 is Pink Shirt Day. Students are encouraged to wear pink as a reminder of the importance of kindness and inclusion.

Ramadan Assembly

We will host a Ramadan Assembly on Wednesday, February 18 at 2:30 PM.

Families are warmly invited to join us as we learn more about this cultural event that many of our MPS families observe.

Lunar New Year

February 23–27 is Lunar New Year Week at MPS. During this time, students will work in school buddy groups to create visual art celebrating the beauty of this tradition.

Families are invited to attend our:

  • Lunar New Year Art Walk
